Of the 3 MAC Cosmetics’ makeup looks, this look is my favourite, I was drawn to it the moment I saw it. I love purple and this purple is so gorgeous and striking that I couldn’t take my eyes off it. In case you are wondering which primary product created the purple hues, it’s pigments.
According to MAC Senior Artist Reyo, the look was inspired by the movie “Avatar”. Perhaps this Mystery Lady is from some purple planet? Natural Plum PRO pigment was used for shading while Violet pigment and Beautiful Iris eyeshadow (semi-matte) was used all over the face. #224 brush was used all over the face while #217 brush was used for the nose and smaller areas.
Reflects Gold pigment was used to add shine to the face while Face & Body Moisturiser was mixed with pigments for some shine to the model’s hair. As for the lips, what else can be as orange as the fabulous Morange lipstick?
