The L’occitane Iris Angelica range complements their Angelica range. Iris Angelica is a combination of angelica from the Dròme region and iris angelica from the Hérault region. Angelica is known for hydration while iris angelica has radiance-enhancing properties.
Currently, the new Iris Angelica range offers 2 products – Sublime Essence and Beauty Cream in 2 shades. The Sublime Essence can be used on all skin types and offers hydration as well as radiance effects. This is a gel serum which is very lightweight and gives my skin an instant softening effect. I apply it just before the Beauty Cream or another way is to add some of the Serum with the Beauty Cream.
The Beauty Creams are in essence beauty balms so coverage is sheer/light. It gives skin a more even tone and great for days when you don’t want to wear a thick layer of foundation yet don’t want to go out bare-faced. I like the fact that it offers natural coverage. It feels very hydrating on my skin and I can wear it for long hours without it slipping off but I do dust some loose powder over it to seal it. Light (as seen in the “after” image below) seems to be the ideal match for my skin whereas medium is too dark. It gives my skin some radiance even if it doesn’t cover up all the dark spots.
Sublime Serum is 30ml/RM195 while the Beauty Creams are 40ml/RM135 each.
