JATI, a rice brand that is no stranger to Malaysia, now forges a new record in the Malaysia Book of Records by producing the largest sack of rice in Malaysia weighing 3 tonnes in conjunction with their 30th anniversary celebration, which was held on 16th May 2023 at Lot 10, Kuala Lumpur. This is Malaysia’s largest rice sack ever produced, shattering the previous record of 1,501 metric tonnes. A certificate of recognition was presented to JATI by a representative of the Malaysia Book of Records at the same event. More interestingly, all 3 tonnes of rice will be donated to the needy, such as orphanages and elderly care centres.

The ceremony, officiated by Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (MAFS) Padi Industry Development Division Director-General, YBhg Datuk Azman bin Mahmood, received a very overwhelming response from the visitors. Various significant events with the theme of 30 years of JATI’s excellence have been held, including the Snap&Win competition, where participants have to take creative photos with 30 arc dishes provided for a chance to win 303 sets of attractive prizes.

Mr. Chua Ken Jin, Senior Manager of Serba Wangi Sdn Bhd, stated in a statement that the achievement of 30 years is a success that should be shared with all those who have loyally supported JATI over the years. Therefore, the celebration, held for seven days starting from 16th May until 22nd May 2023 also offers various other interesting promotions, including a special 300gram Jati Signature Pusa Finest Basmathi 1121 pack specially designed in conjunction with this anniversary celebration for only RM3.

After three decades in the market, JATI has proven its authority to steer the industry. The diversity of goods produced, including flour, vermicelli and others, demonstrates JATI’s dedication to providing the finest service possible to its customers. JATI aspires to be a global brand with a diverse range of products that meet the needs of people at all levels of society.
