Harvey Norman Malaysia introduces Lakaran Malaysia, a thoughtfully curated initiative that reimagines everyday furniture through the lens of Malaysian heritage, culture, and contemporary art. Created in collaboration with Toko Art Gallery, the collection transforms functional pieces into expressive statements of culture and creativity, designed to inspire pride, spark conversation, and celebrate Malaysian identity within the home.
We are launching this initiative with The Promised Garden series by Malaysian contemporary artist Najib Ahmad Bamadhaj. Inspired by themes of serenity, hope, and renewal, the collection features soft, organic forms and symbolic elements, evoking a sense of calm, optimism, and quiet beauty in modern living spaces.

The launch of Lakaran Malaysia was marked by an intimate showcase attended by members of the media, interior designers, art collectors, and key business partners. The event also featured a roundtable panel discussion with industry experts and interior designers, offering deeper insight into the creative vision, design philosophy, and collaborative thinking behind the project.
