This Firming & Whitening Set is one of the two sets I’ve seen at Guardian 1Utama and MidValley. I haven’t seen the sets at other bigger Guardian outlets such as KLCC and Sunway Pyramid. The other set is the Moisturizing & Whitening Set, both retail at RM128 but I got the Firming & Whitening Set at the discounted price of RM102.40 which works out to RM3 per mask (each set has 34 masks).
The Firming & Whitening Set consists of:-
(1) 15 pieces of Arbutin Whitening Mask
(2) 15 pieces of Collagen Firming Mask
(3) 2 pieces of Platinum + Pearl Lift Stretch Mask
(4) 2 pieces of Gold + Marine Collagen Lift Stretch Mask
The Moisturizing & Whitening Set has the same masks but instead of the Collagen Firming Mask, there’s 15 pieces of Hyaluronic Mask for intense moisturising and hydration. These sets are pretty good value especially since they all have the thinner texture like the Bird’s Nest Mask, Vienna Black Tulip Mask and Southern France Apricot Mask.
I’ve only just started with the Collagen Firming Mask so I’ll leave the review of the other masks till a later date. There is a slight scent in the Collagen Firming Mask but the scent doesn’t last that long. The list of ingredients includes soluble collagen but of course, doesn’t state how much soluble collagen is in the serum.
While the mask is moist, it isn’t dripping with serum like the Bird’s Nest Mask. I didn’t see nor feel any firming effects but then again, are there any sheet masks out there that can truly firm up skin even with regular and continuous use? Even if they do, the effects are probably short term.
Like the other newer My Beauty Diary masks I have tried, the Collagen Firming Mask could be used for 75 minutes before drying up gradually. I think it’s more a hydrating than a firming mask, brightening effect was minimal.
