This year, I have been able to post more food reviews thanks to being included in a few hotels’ media list. I haven’t reached out to all the hotels in town and I wouldn’t even say I have received a response from all the hotels I have contacted with some either not bothering to reply or sending me press releases without so much as one invitation.

Grand Millennium is one of the few hotels which have invited me for food reviews and I am very appreciative of that. A few nights’ ago, the hotel invited a group of bloggers for the seafood buffet dinner at The Mill with no obligations to blog about it but I just have to show you the awesome cakes.

carrot

This is by far the most beautiful carrot cake I have ever seen. I waited for someone to cut it before partaking of a slice. It’s moist and dense without being too sweet, has walnuts and smells of wonderful cinnamon and allspice.

cheese

Another fab looking cake, the cheese cake has oreo cookies and macarons on the edges, how absolutely decadent.

nutty

You won’t believe the amount of nuts in this Nutty Tart. The nuts are all top quality and for anyone who loves all kinds of nuts (except the human kind), this is a must-have.

christmas

One top reason why everyone should love December is seeing the festive cakes and desserts like this.
