Burt’s Bees bodycare products generally have delicious scents and with the Richly Replenishing Cocoa & Cupuaçu Butters Body Lotion, you’d expect a very cocoa butter scent since cupuaçu is also a type of cocoa tree commonly found in the Amazon Basin. However, this body lotion smells quite strongly of vanilla.
This body lotion is thicker and richer than the last body lotion I tested – Crabtree & Evelyn Tarocco Orange Eucalyptus & Sage Skin Refreshing Body Lotion. While this Burt’s Bees Body Lotion is moisturising, I won’t go so far as to say it provided 24hr moisturisation for me. The Crabtree Body Lotion made my skin feel more silky smooth than the Burt’s Bees Body Lotion.
Burt’s Bees Richly Replenishing Cocoa & Cupuaçu Butters Body Lotion comes in either a tube or pump bottle. This 6.5g sample sachet was from Bag Of Love’s April bag.
Although I generally regard Burt’s Bees products as pretty good quality, I admit I have never purchased any Burt’s Bees products so if anyone has anything to recommend from Burt’s Bees, please let me know & I promise to check it out the next time I am at a Burt’s Bees outlet :).
oh, i thought it smell of cocoa too. Maybe i am mistaken
It just smells more of vanilla than cocoa to me but the scent of cocoa is there.
