My first impression of Averine years ago was that while the quality of the make-up was on par with many counter brands, it was rather inaccessible as you’d need to enter one of the salons where Averine was available. That does include all the Aster Spring salons but I am sure I am not the only one who baulks at entering a facial salon just to browse, might end up buying more than just a lipstick.
I purchased the Averine Power Serum Lipstick Plum Berry (RM78/3.8g) when I attended the Averine Age Defy make-up demo by Damian, Averine’s Group Education Manager of Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore at AsterSpring Pavilion last November.
Although Plum Berry looks quite dark in the tube, it doesn’t appear so when applied on my lips. It isn’t such a deep berry shade that it can’t be worn any time of the day. This is my kind of shade and it feels very comfortable on my lips as it isn’t at all drying. After all, it’s enriched with an age defying collagen complex to moisturize and keep lips luxuriously smooth all day. Has pretty good staying power as I only need to re-apply after a meal. However, it does leave stains on cup rims.

Good lipstick ^^. Yeah, i don’t like to enter beauty salon at all. They are kind of pushy and will end up buying more..hahahaha
