As Malaysians’ lifestyles and priorities have shifted, so too has Amway’s approach to supporting healthier lives. Today, the country faces growing health challenges, including an ageing population, the rising
prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and widespread phytonutrient gaps, underscoring the importance of preventive health and healthier ageing. Responding to these evolving needs, Amway
continues to invest in science-backed research and innovation that empowers Malaysians to take greater ownership of their health.
One example of this focus on innovation is Nutrilite AmCELL, developed through six years of cellular health research and powered by the company’s proprietary plant science expertise. Designed to support healthy ageing at a cellular level, it reflects Amway’s continued investment in advancing plant science and cellular health. “For 50 years, Amway Malaysia has remained committed to Helping People Live Better Lives by creating opportunities for entrepreneurship while supporting healthier lifestyles through innovation. As Malaysians’ needs continue to change, we will continue to find new ways to create value, whether through our health and wellbeing solutions, initiatives that encourage healthier habits, or by strengthening the communities we serve,” said Jason Leng, Managing Director of Amway Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.

The VIPs toured the AM50 Expo, exploring its 6 experiential zones, interactive product showcases, personalised wellness experiences and engaging activities.

This journey has reinforced an important belief: meaningful change begins with empowering individuals to take small, consistent steps towards better health and wellbeing. This philosophy continues to shape
Amway’s approach, from developing science-backed solutions to creating initiatives that inspire healthier everyday habits and encourage collective action.
Building on this philosophy, Amway has launched Mission 50K, a nationwide initiative designed to encourage 50,000 Malaysians to begin their wellbeing journey. Through a personal pledge, participants
are invited to prioritise their wellbeing and embrace positive lifestyle changes that can be sustained over time. By encouraging individuals to take that first step, Mission 50K reflects Amway’s aspiration to support
healthier communities and contribute to a healthier nation.
As part of the AM50 celebration, the AM50 Expo serves as a public platform showcasing these initiatives and inviting Malaysians to discover Amway’s 50-year journey through interactive product showcases,
personalised wellness experiences, interactive games, family-friendly activities and community engagement. The launch of the AM50 Expo was officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Rohaizi bin Bahari, Undersecretary,
Distributive Trade and Business Division, Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), reflecting the value of continued collaboration between the Government and industry in fostering
responsible entrepreneurship and a trusted business ecosystem.

As part of the AM50 Expo, the forum, “Empowering the Rakyat: Navigating Cost of Living Pressures Through Ethical Entrepreneurship”, brought together representatives from government, industry, academia and the direct selling sector to discuss financial resilience, ethical entrepreneurship and sustainable income opportunities.

The celebration also featured the Empowering the Rakyat: Navigating Cost of Living Pressures Through Ethical Entrepreneurship forum, reinforcing the company’s longstanding commitment to responsible entrepreneurship. Bringing together representatives from the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), the Direct Selling Association of Malaysia (DSAM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and Amway Malaysia, the forum provided a platform to exchange perspectives on the current economic landscape, financial resilience and the role of ethical entrepreneurship in creating sustainable income opportunities.
According to the DSAM Board Report 2025/26, Malaysia ranks fifth globally in the direct selling industry, underscoring the sector’s continued growth and its important role in creating entrepreneurial opportunities for Malaysians. Supporting this, an internal Amway Malaysia study found that approximately 10 million Malaysians are interested in growing their income or starting a business, reflecting continued interest in entrepreneurship as a pathway towards greater financial resilience.
Beyond empowering individuals through business opportunities and healthier living, Amway has consistently invested in initiatives that create meaningful and lasting impact within communities. Programmes such as Projek HeadSTART have provided mentorship, skills training and educational opportunities for underprivileged youth, while the WOW Community Bazaar, organised with the Department of Social Welfare (JKM), has supported underserved communities. More recently, the AM-Power Lives Drive-Thru brought together employees, ABOs and the public to raise funds and essential supplies for marginalised children in Chow Kit.
Looking ahead, Amway Malaysia remains committed to its purpose of Helping People Live Better Lives by creating meaningful opportunities through entrepreneurship, advancing research-driven health and
wellbeing solutions, and working alongside government, industry and community partners to create a lasting positive impact for Malaysians.
