L’oreal Paris Hydrafresh Anti-Shine Icy Gel is formulated for oily to combination skins which need mattifying. While it is not exactly icy, it does feel cooling on application which is nice for soothing skin but it does have a fragrance so if you have sensitive skin, this may irritate skin.
They key ingredients are:-
• Micro Sponges: Absorbs excess sebum/oil and prevent perspiration & shine
• 8X More concentrated in Zinc: Helps to regulate sebum production
• Ocean Deep Water: Provide hydration and prevent water loss,4X More Hydration
Would have been better if it was packaged in a tube rather than a jar as dipping my fingers into it each time adds to the contamination and using a spatula is too impractical for me. It absorbs into skin instantly and doesn’t feel sticky, nice lightweight texture. I think it may be sufficient to hydrate oily to combination skin but dry skin like mine needs a richer moisturiser with a longer-lasting hydration effect.
