As an alternative to cream or oil-based hydrators, Aesop has the Parsley Seed Anti-oxidant Serum that uses a complex blend of anti-oxidant ingredients to hydrate, soften and fortify skin. This is a concentrated hydrating serum for normal to combination and sensitive skin. It has a gel texture that is slightly sticky with a floral herbaceous scent.
While it is hydrating, it is no more hydrating than some of the drugstore hydrating serums I have used before so despite the no doubt higher price for this serum, I’d choose a cheaper alternative since I get the same results. Although the scent is lovely, it still doesn’t justify paying more for what is essentially just another hydrating serum.
