MAC Spring Summer 2016 Makeup Trends : Aquatic

Now this is a trend which I like a lot as I have always loved aquatic eye shadows. There’s something so striking about blues and greens. The Aquatic trend under MAC Spring Summer 2016 Makeup Trend “All” category can be monochromatic or colours can be combined to stunning effect such as the eye make-up at the Giuletta show @ New York Woman Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016.

Who knew yellow eye shadow could look so good with green? At the Giuletta show, brows were well-groomed and naturally perfected. Gesso Eye Shadow was applied over the eyelids for a light, powdery base. The eyes were accentuated in three different colour combinations over the eyelids along with a correlating eye liner application. The eye liner shape was drawn with an even width across the eyelid, ending with a tipped point to avoid a pulled-out wing and kept at the very end of the eye. A pastel green was created with a mix of Gesso Eye Shadow with Sour Lemon or Bitter Eye Shadow and blended over the eyelids followed with MAC Pro Acrylic Paint in Landscape Green as eye liner to define.
