Mr. Idi Iskandar, Managing Director of Luxe Acre Sdn Bhd.

Heritage Valley Kuala Lumpur, the newest entrepreneurship and community hub under the Malaysian Entrepreneur Hub (MEH) initiative by UDA Holdings Berhad (UDA), has generated total sales of over RM4.6 million and benefited more than 500 entrepreneurs and vendors from August 2025 to August 2026.

UDA is an agency under the supervision of the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development (KUSKOP). The Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development, YB Steven Sim Chee Keong, said this achievement shows how strategic urban spaces can be utilized to open up market access for entrepreneurs, especially micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

“The challenge for many micro-entrepreneurs is not just capital, but also access to good locations with a steady flow of visitors. In the city center, rental rates are usually beyond the reach of new businesses. “Through Heritage Valley, we want to provide commercial spaces at more affordable rates, while bringing in programs, events, and activities that can attract customers to entrepreneurs,” he said during the launch of Heritage Valley Kuala Lumpur.

Built on a 1.71-acre site on Jalan Doraisamy, this entrepreneurship hub activates urban space as a destination offering business opportunities to local entrepreneurs, along with community activities and an urban lifestyle. Heritage Valley now hosts 26 entrepreneurs operating regularly in kiosks and shop lots, with early-stage average sales around RM8,000 to RM10,000 per month for each vendor.

The benefits are also extended to entrepreneurs and vendors who participate in various programs, events, and sales activities such as Santai Maa, Secondlife Market, Slay Maa, Curators Lab, and Kuala Lumpur Bike Week. Overall, these activities have attracted more than 100,000 visitors. For 2026 and beyond, Heritage Valley aims to benefit over 700 entrepreneurs and vendors, including through programs, events, and commercial activities, in addition to the entrepreneurs who operate permanently at the location.

This project involves a total investment of RM9.7 million, covering RM6.4 million in development costs by UDA and RM3.3 million in investment by the operator, Luxe Acre Sdn Bhd. In addition to the 26 existing permanent lots, 14 pop-up store units will be introduced, making a total of 40 commercial lots, with a target total sales for Heritage Valley of over RM6.5 million a year.

Meanwhile, YBhg. Dato’ Sri Ahmad Fuaad Kenali, CEO of UDA Holdings Berhad, said, “The success of Heritage Valley Kuala Lumpur isn’t measured just by physical development or occupancy rates, but by how much this space can create new opportunities, connect the community, and guide entrepreneurs to build sustainable businesses for the long term.”

“Heritage Valley Kuala Lumpur will also be expanded through plans to open new kiosks to benefit more entrepreneurs. This plan will provide more business spaces and growth opportunities for local entrepreneurs,” he said.

As of August 2026, MEH projects nationwide have benefited 611 entrepreneurs and vendors, including over 526 at Heritage Valley, 20 at Santai Camp, Angsana Johor Bahru Mall, and 65 at Morten Walk, Melaka.

Overall, the MEH project has recorded total estimated sales of over RM7.75 million, consisting of more than RM4.6 million in Heritage Valley, RM2.3 million in Santai Camp, and RM850,000 in Morten Walk. Besides Heritage Valley, MEH has also been implemented in Morten Walk, Malacca, and Santai Camp, Johor, while another hub in Kundasang, Sabah is under development.
