vivo Partners With Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival (KLPF) To Kickstart Vision 2021 Photography Contest


vivo-vision-2021-photography-contest-key-visualvivo Malaysia teamed up with Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival (KLPF) in exploring creative expressions of mobile photography through vivo Vision 2021 Photography Contest that will be running from 11 May until 8 June 2021.

Open to all Malaysians aged 12 and above, fellow Malaysians are invited to “Xplore” their surroundings, in a safe manner adhering to standard operating procedure (SOP) during this Movement Control Order (MCO), through the lens of their smartphone according to each week’s theme – Nature, People, Raya and Night – to stand a chance to win RM15,000 worth of prizes. This includes the latest flagship smartphone, the new vivo X60 as well as vivo TWS Neo Earbuds and vivo Wireless Sport Earphone.

Weekly Theme Contest Period
Week 1: Xplore the Nature
Capture the true beauty of nature, such as: nature landscape, plants, animals, etc. 11 May – 18 May
Week 2: Xplore the People
It’s all about the people. How to show them at their best is a challenge. 18 May – 25 May
Week 3: Xplore the Raya
Capture the best moments during Raya Aidilfitri or anything with Raya related themes. 25 May – 1 June
Week 4: Xplore the Night
Discover the beauty at night or in low-light conditions 1 June – 8 June

Participants are required to take photos using their smartphone following the theme of the week, then upload and post it on Instagram together with hashtags #vivovision2021, tag @vivo_malaysia and @malaysia_klpf.

Multiple entries are allowed for those who wants to share a variety of images or those who wants to join each week, with terms and conditions apply.

Here are the easy steps for participation: –

1. Take photo with any smartphone according to the theme of the week.
2. vivo users are encouraged to insert vivo’s device watermarks. For non-vivo users, please remove device’s watermark.
3. Upload the photo to your Instagram with hashtags #vivovision2021 and tag @vivo_malaysia and @malaysia_klpf.
4. Share the vivo Instagram post on the Vision 2021 contest to your Instagram Story. Make sure it is in accordance with the theme you are participating in.
5. Comment “Joined” in vivo Instagram contest post according to the theme each week.

vivo kickstarted the Visual Creator campaign in March with the production of a heart-warming featurette, The Incident that was directed by Chong Keat Aun, an award-winner at the prestigious Golden Horse Awards 2020. This was in conjunction with its recent launch of professional photography flagship X60 series, powered by ZEISS. Visual Creator campaign carries a mission to encourage fellow Malaysians to express themselves and become visual creators by unearthing the creativity and raw creator talent within them.
