Every woman on the verge of getting married dreams of the perfect wedding, a day that she will remember for the rest of her life and goes without a hitch. Years later, she will still look at the photos and video to reminisce about the day she began a new chapter in her life. It used to be a lot more stressful for brides planning their big day but nowadays with the help of wedding planners and hotels which offer services to organize everything related to a wedding, it’s a lot off a bride’s mind even if the bride is a Bridezilla.

Where to get married? A hotel seems the most obvious choice as it’s a convenient location. Brides can avail themselves of a hotel room to get ready and some hotels offer very scenic spots to capture beautiful moments. One of these hotels is Saujana Hotel which is enveloped within 160 hectares of lush greenery and rolling hills, perfect as a backdrop for wedding photos.

You can choose to say “I DO” by the pool, on the deck overlooking the lake or in Saujana’s well trimmed gardens and courtyard in bright sunshine or under the starry night with breathtaking views that will impress your guests and leave them with precious memories.

If you choose to have an intimate ceremony/gathering, Saujana has function rooms but if you have an almost endless guest list, commemorate your beautiful moment in Saujana’s newly revamped Ballroom which now features a spanking new foyer, new wall paneling, carpeting and state-of-the-art audio and video facilities.

The Club Saujana Resort, a mere 5 minutes away from Saujana Hotel also offers more intimate spaces. The Resort is adorned with dark Burmese wood and cream colored walls. There’s a choice between The Restaurant, a small 60-seater restaurant overlooking a tranquil water feature or out in the gardens with an amazing view of the lake.

For a traditional wedding in a Chinese restaurant, there’s Ti Chen situated in the neighbouring Saujana Golf and Country Club. The restaurant has a breathtaking view of the fairway and has black and red tones.

I had a look at the wedding packages on offer at the Saujana when I attended their Bridal Fair themed “Timeless Elegance” this year over the weekend. There were wedding services vendors such as photographers and wedding planners and the highlight of the event was the Keith Kee Bridal Fashion Show which included some adorable and cute very young models! With such confidence strutting down the runway, they certainly have the potential of being Malaysia’s supermodels of the future.

Saujana has a wide choice of wedding packages to suit everyone regardless of whether they want a Chinese, Malay Indian or Western themed wedding. For those who would like less formal dining, there’s The Buffet Wedding at RM188.80++ per person.

A wedding ceremony in a hotel as beautiful as Saujana isn’t necessarily costly as it is RM5,000++ per event rental and couples can choose from The Garden or The Saujana Poolside. There’s an alternate venue of Topaz room or a maximum of 120 people.
