Last weekend, when I was pondering what to purchase with my 2 Sephora rebate vouchers, there were quite a lot of customers at the Soap & Glory display. Perfectly understandable as Soap & Glory products are one of the more affordable brands at Sephora and the variety of Soap & Glory products is ever increasing. They have just about every kind of bodycare product for pampering yourself and they make great gifts. It took me some time to decide what to purchase and I finally settled on Scrub, Actually. I would have picked up a 2nd Soap & Glory item except the 2 combined didn’t quite make up the requisite RM75 to qualify for the rebate voucher usage.

Anyway Scrub, Actually is described as “an absolute smash of a body buffer, with smoothing brown sugar, white sugar and natural apricot kernel oil. Loaded with kukui oil, mango butter and vitamin E.  Scented with fruity Blueberry fragrance.”

I didn’t read all this when I decided to pick up Scrub, Actually. All the convincing I needed was done with as soon as I opened the product tester cap as the scent was simply divine. Wowza! Gorgeous fruity scent that would completely rejuvenate me in the shower.

Unlike Pulp Friction and The Breakfast Scrub, this is a gel textured scrub. The brown and white sugar particles of different sizes are contained within a pink gel. This one does not lather up as well as Pulp Friction. Although essentially a sugar scrub, this does not feel harsh on skin. Gives my skin an excellent exfoliation. I can feel its effectiveness as soon as the scrub has been rinsed off.

It’s a moisturising scrub which smoothens skin and leaves a hint of the scent on my skin. I am really getting hooked on Soap & Glory’s scrubs, actually!

The 200ml flip-top tube retails at RM39. Do try and keep it in a dry area of the shower/bath as you wouldn’t want water seeping into the cap.

  1. Oh my, Soap & Glory! I’ve been a fan of The Breakfast Scrub ever since I tried it last year. One word: A-MAY-ZINGGGGGGGG! But I’m tempted to try this Scrub, Actually for something new. 🙂 Would you recommend it for daily use since it didn’t feel harsh on your skin?
