It’s been 3 weeks since I’ve used the Samsung Galaxy S24. When I opened the box for the 1st time, my initial impression was how compact the size is as it can easily fit into my pocket without protruding and this is something very important to me as I am somewhat paranoid about losing stuff in my pockets, especially a phone.
I have the phone in Cobalt Violet which is my favourite of the 3 available, the other 2 being Onyx Black and Marble Gray with 3 other shades available online, i.e. Sandstone Orange, Jade Green and Sapphire Blue. If I were to buy one, I would definitely go for a shade which is unique like Cobalt Violet or Jade Green.
The screen of the S24 is 6.2″ compared to 6.1″ on the S23 and the weight of the S24 is 167g which makes this very light indeed. It’s lighter than the S23 which is 168g. The size of the S24 is ideal for smaller hands like mine. It’s such a comfortable fit in the hand.
It charges very fast as it has a 4000mAh battery which is 100mAh bigger than the previous model. The S24 gives up to 29 hours of video playback and up to 78 hours of audio playback.
The 3 rear cameras have 50.0 MP + 10.0 MP + 12.0 MP Resolution respectively with Optical Zoom3x, Optical quality Zoom 2x & Digital Zoom up to 30x while the Selfie Camera in front has a Resolution of 12.0 MP. This camera has some serious zoom features.

Having used the S24 for over a couple of weeks now, I do like the phone a lot mostly thanks to its size (so easy and nice to hold) as well as high quality images be it in very sunny outdoors or darker condition indoors.
