The first time I drank Roleaf tea was at the Neroteca food review last month. Subsequently, I contacted Roleaf to find out more about their teas and they kindly sent over a few samples of different teas. If you have a look at Roleaf’s website, you will see that they have many varieties with cute names such as Ravishing Rose Petals and Rooibos The Robust. Whether you are into Green, Black, Oolong or Herbal & Fruit, prefer them in loose form or tea bags, Roleaf has it all.

Roleaf Teas in tea bags are  packed in various shapes of tea sachets made from biodegradable material, which allows more room for tea leaves to expand while steeping. I could inhale the lovely scent of the different teas through the tea bags.

Each of the teas has a different brewing time. The taste of the teas is light but they are all great for relaxing and chilling out with a cup of tea can really help one to de-stress after a long day out.

My favourite Roleaf tea is Gorgeous Geisha Genmaicha as I like my green teas. The taste is pleasant with a hint of roasted rice and a mild aftertaste. The aroma is a light scent of freshness and roasted rice.

For those who like fruit teas, I’d recommend Peach Green Sencha which has a hint of peach and gives the tea a subtle sweetness.

I can never go without a cup of English Breakfast every morning. Just like coffee lovers, I can get cranky without a cup of tea and Roleaf’s English Breakfast is a robust blend with full bodied flavour to get me started in the morning.
