Myra Continues To Enhance Myra Senja Homeownership Experience With Unity Kitchen Collaboration

Myra, the residential brand of Oriental Interest Berhad (OIB), has partnered with Unity Kitchen to incorporate designer kitchen cabinetry packages into every open market unit at Myra Senja in Subang 2, reflecting the developer’s efforts to reduce post-purchase renovation requirements and create a more seamless transition into homeownership.

Myra had earlier partnered with Panasonic Malaysia to equip every eligible Myra Senja unit with a curated selection of essential energy-efficient home appliances, further extending the range of standard features offered with the development.

This latest initiative reflects Myra’s observation that homebuyers are placing greater emphasis on the overall cost and convenience of moving into a new home, with kitchens remaining one of the largest post-purchase renovation priorities for many households.

Akil Hassan, Chief of People and Growth at Myra, said the developer believes a homeowner-first philosophy should extend beyond the purchase itself, with property developers playing a greater role in helping buyers transition more seamlessly into their new homes.

“Receiving the keys should be the start of enjoying a new home, yet for many homeowners, essential spaces such as the kitchen still require significant renovation work, time and expense before they aready for everyday living.

“By integrating practical features that homeowners would otherwise need to source and install themselves, we hope to reduce some of that burden and help families settle into their homes sooner. That is why we continue to explore collaborations with trusted brands that can add meaningful value to the overall homeownership experience,” he said.

Myra Senja, which has a gross development value (GDV) of approximately RM400 million, comprises three residential towers offering three and four-bedroom homes ranging from 1,101 sq ft to 1,409 sq ft, with prices from RM658,000 to RM988,200. The development adopts a low-density configuration of just 12 units per floor and was intentionally designed with larger, family-oriented layouts to provide the flexibility and space needed as household needs evolve over time.

Under the collaboration, each open market unit will receive a kitchen package comprising upper and lower cabinets, quartz stone countertops, cooker hoods, soft-close drawers and related fittings, with selected Type T2B layouts also featuring an island counter. The cabinetry incorporates Unity Kitchen’s proprietary UNS LED lighting system and anti-cockroach board technology and is supported by the company’s Care Plus programme, which offers warranty coverage of up to 10 years.

Erny Looi Chee En, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Unity Kitchen Sdn Bhd, said the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to creating homes that respond to the practical needs of homeowners.

“Homeowners today increasingly expect kitchens that combine functionality, durability and ease of maintenance. By incorporating quality materials and practical design solutions from the start, we hope to provide a kitchen environment that continues to meet the needs of homeowners long after they move in,” he said.

The market response to Myra Senja has been encouraging, with approximately 60% of units in Phase 1, Block B sold to date. Myra is now preparing to launch Block A in Q3 2026 as the next phase of the development.

Complementing the residential offering are a landscaped podium, 25-metre lap pool, water play areas, badminton courts, a reading room and outdoor fitness spaces, alongside ground-floor retail and a boutique hotel component that enhance everyday convenience.

Myra Senja also incorporates a boutique hotel and several ground-floor retail spaces, creating a vibrant mixed-use destination aimed at enhancing the lifestyle offering for residents and the surrounding community.

Strategically located within the growing enclave of Subang 2 and surrounded by established neighbourhoods such as Kota Damansara, Ara Damansara, Kwasa Damansara and Elmina, Myra Senja enjoys excellent accessibility via the DASH Expressway and close proximity to education, retail and healthcare amenities.

Registration of interest for Myra Senja is now open. Prospective homebuyers may visit www.myra.com.my or follow @myrahomes and @_askmyra on Instagram and Facebook for more information.
