3rd Session At My Bowen Therapy Etiqa Twin Towers : No Pain, No (Potential) Gain

mybowen5It’s been exactly 2 weeks since my 1st session at My Bowen Therapy Etiqa Twin Towers for my heel spur problem. Some patients see improvements after the 1st session but I think my problem might take a bit longer to resolve. I have no regrets signing up for the 4-session package as it was worth a try. Anything is better than sitting tight waiting for my next appointment with the orthopaedic specialist in June, only to be told the problem still exists.

This morning marked my 3rd session at My Bowen Therapy Etiqa Twin Towers. I did more walking this week hence my heel was more sore than last week. For this session, my therapist Hafiy concentrated on my back and pelvic region. He also targeted the psoas muscles located in the lower lumbar region of the spine.

My heel spur won’t go away other than with surgery but therapy such as this can help relax the muscles around the spur and reduce inflammation. I am aware that this may probably take more than 4 sessions and I am considering extending the sessions. However, I don’t think I will take up another 4-session package as it includes the cost of the magnesium oil and I really don’t need another bottle when I have barely touched the 1st bottle.

Today’s session was a bit painful but I am a great believer in the old adage “no pain, no gain”. I just want my heel to get better and I’ll do whatever necessary to get it back to what it once was. It’ll probably take some time & while some lucky ones do get better after 4 sessions, it’s beginning to look like I will need a few more sessions.
