Marula Oil from The Leakey Collection™ was launched in Malaysia last year. Katy & Philip Leakey founded the Leakey Collection in 2002. They collaborated with Dr. Ashton Kaidi on Marula Oil which has a unique composition of fatty acids, antioxidants and minerals.

Studies have shown that Marula Oil has greater absorbency, moisture retention, antioxidants, stability/longevity and a lighter texture than argan oil and grape seed oil. According to Dr. Kaidi, Marula Oil is the ideal moisturizer because it provides a boost of anti-oxidant and hydration to the skin. Marula Oil comes in a bottle with a glass dropper, only 3-5 drops are required per application. I had a 1ml vial of Marula Oil so I confirm the long-term benefits. It has a really lovely scent which is very different from Argan or Grape Seed Oil. The texture is a lot lighter than Argan Oil and it absorbs into my skin faster than Argan Oil. I had 3 uses out of the 1ml and I used it alone as well as mixed with moisturiser. It enhances the effect of the moisturiser as my skin became extra smooth and soft.
