Marriott International Signs Agreement With Citta Worldwide To Debut Aloft Hotels In Seremban

Marriott International, Inc. today announced the signing of an agreement with Citta Worldwide to introduce Aloft Hotels to Seremban. Expected to open by end of 2025, Aloft Seremban marks the first internationally branded hotel in the city. This signing underscores Marriott’s continued expansion in Malaysia and aligns with the nation’s broader economic and infrastructural growth initiatives, including Vision Valley 2.0 and the National Growth Conurbation plan. The event was graced by YB Tuan Anthony Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport of Malaysia also attended by YB Choo Ken Hwa, Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri Sembilan DUN Lukut and YB Nicole Tan Lee Koon, Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Bertindak Pelancongan, Kesenian Dan Kebudayaan, Negeri Sembilan, Tan Sri Datuk Seri (Dr) Mazlan bin Lazim, Tan Sri Eddy Chen and Datuk Seri Michael Chong.

Strategically located in Seremban’s town center, Aloft Seremban will be part of an integrated commercial development comprising retail and office spaces. The hotel will be directly linked to Terminal 1 Shopping Centre, one of the city’s key retail destinations, and will offer seamless connectivity to major transportation hubs, including the upcoming Seremban Sentral railway station. With its proximity to Kuala Lumpur and Port Dickson, Seremban is emerging as an attractive business and leisure destination.

“Aloft Seremban represents a milestone in Marriott International’s growth in Malaysia, and we are delighted to be working with Citta Worldwide to bring this vibrant and design-forward brand to Seremban,” said Andree Susilo, Vice President – Development, Asia Pacific excluding China, Marriott International.

“This hotel will introduce a fresh hospitality experience to the city, catering to modern travelers who seek style, innovation, and convenience.” Aloft Seremban is expected to feature 173 contemporary rooms and suites, thoughtfully designed with signature amenities. Plans for dining and social venues include an all-day dining restaurant with a semi-open kitchen, Re:Fuel – a Grab & Go concept, and the brand’s signature W XYZ® Bar, known for its lively atmosphere and curated music experiences.

The hotel’s meeting and event spaces are anticipated to span 300 square meters, featuring a function room that can be divided into three sections and two dedicated meeting rooms. Design plans also call for the hotel to feature a 25-meter outdoor swimming pool with a sun deck and a 75-square-meter Re:Charge fitness center, providing guests with leisure and wellness facilities.

Seremban’s growth potential makes it a key location for development. The hotel will be within walking distance of key demand generators such as Terminal 1 Shopping Centre, Terminal 1 Bus Terminal, and Seremban KTM Railway Station. Additionally, popular attractions, including the Negeri Sembilan State
Museum, Seri Menanti Royal Museum, The Church of Visitation and Port Dickson’s renowned beaches, are easily accessible from the hotel.

“Aloft Seremban will redefine the hospitality landscape in Seremban, offering a dynamic and stylish stay
experience that aligns with the city’s evolving urban profile,” said Datuk Seri Dr KK Chai, Chairman of Citta Worlwide. “We are proud to collaborate with Marriott International to introduce a brand that embodies an upbeat and vibrant energy, reflecting the character of Seremban itself.”

With its modern design, innovative spaces, and strategic location, Aloft Seremban is poised to become a landmark hospitality destination in Negeri Sembilan, further strengthening Marriott’s presence in Malaysia.
