If there is one Disney character who was made to feel small, it was none other than Cinderella who was made to slave away by her evil stepmother and stepsisters. I am sure all of us have had one of those days when we were made to feel inferior, whether it was by someone’s actions or words.
A few days ago, I had that kind of experience which made my cheeks burn with humiliation because I was keen to cover something and I didn’t get what I expected. Making someone feel small may not be deliberate but it’s hurtful all the same and to survive that kind of treatment, you just have to be confident about your abilities and know that you are worth more than what the person who put you down thinks you are.
Cheer up my friend! We don’t need others to prove that we’re great!
