As I’m still getting acquainted with L’occitane products, their Christmas gift sets are a good introduction to their bestsellers. One of these sets is the Shower Celebration Gift Set which contains 4 x 75ml shower gels. I couldn’t decide on any one product to redeem with my RM20 birthday voucher so when I saw this set, it was just what I wanted. Why settle for one shower gel when you can have variety?
There’s the Rose, Cherry Blossom and Verbena Shower Gels as well as the Shower Oil. Of the 4, I like the scents of the Verbena Shower Gel and Shower Oil the most. The scents of the Rose and Cherry Blossom are quite mild compared to the other 2.
This is a good set for travelling, not that you need to bring all 4 along with you. Any one of them would last at least a week if used sparingly. I’ve been alternating between them, all produce a decent amount of lather especially when used with a shower puff. Actually with the Shower Oil in particular, it’s best to use a shower puff otherwise there’s not much lather.
Definitely a wonderful set to have for variety but I wouldn’t repurchase unless I had another discount on this one. At RM110, it is rather pricey! In fact, I’d consider it pricey even at my discounted price of RM90 notwithstanding the better than average quality of the shower gels.
