It’s been ages since I saw a mascara tube as pretty as Urban Decay’s Lush Lash Mascara. This one has a pastel lavender-ish colour with floral patterns just about all over. More than a mascara, it is infused with lash growth serum but I can’t comment on that because I don’t use it on a daily basis. I have far too many mascaras at hand so I never stick to just one mascara.
Lush Lash Mascara purports to thicken, lengthen and build lashes. It has an hourglass brush which is quite unique. When I apply it too close to the roots of my lashes, it feels scratchy. It gives my lashes a bit of a curl without the aid of an eyelash curler and it separates each lash well enough.
There is definition and length but not much volume. I can’t say that it has scored in the thickening department. There are so many close bristles on the brush which makes for easy and even application. It does last practically all day without any smudging which earns big brownie points from me.
Even though it doesn’t add much volume, I like this mascara a lot. It’s not waterproof, just water-resistant but it stays on all day and that’s really important to me as I don’t find it necessary to check the mirror from time to time.
