Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival 2012

Presentation of token of appreciation to Dato’ Hon Choon Kim by Publisher of PCP Publications, Mr. Kim Teoh

From 5th to 7th October 2012, photographers and travellers came from near and far to throng the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre for the hottest and biggest imaging event of the year, the Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival 2012.

This year, Malaysia’s biggest and hottest imaging and travel event expanded by occupying all the three halls at the MVEC. Officiating the opening of Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival 2012 was the Honourable Dato’ Hon Choon Kim, the former Deputy Minister of Education who is also a passionate photographer and traveller.

Making its debut this year was the FITE (Free Independent Travel Exchange) which provides a venue for tourism players to provide FIT packages and solutions. The FITE comes with a Travel Square where travellers and photographers gather to exchange travel information and experiences.

Organised by PCP Publications, this annual festival has won recognition as ‘the‘ event that promotes the art in photography, takes you in search of better photography, encourages interaction and extends the exploratory experiences amongst PCP’s readers, photography enthusiasts and travellers.
