As someone who has dry skin, I have come across so many moisturisers which cater to dry skins which are thick and concentrated whereas I prefer lighter textures without compromising on the hydration factor. Maybe Kiehl’s read my mind and those like me who want effective lighter textured moisturisers when they came up with their Ultra Facial Cream Intense Hydration.
Heavy creams which are formulated for dry skin types can take a longer time to absorb and just sit on skin, making skin feel uncomfortable and greasy. Before I opened this jar of Ultra Facial Cream Intense Hydration, I was expecting a thick cream so was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight it is.
My skin lapped up Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream Intense Hydration like a camel at an oasis after 2 weeks of trudging through the Sahara. It does feel light to the point of weightlessness and I was quite impressed by how comfortable it felt on my skin, not sticky at all. The longer I use this cream, the softer and smoother my skin feels.
Other than how it has increased my skin hydration level without the need for a hydration serum, the next best thing about Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream Intense Hydration is the price. It’s just RM100 for 50ml, I’d say that is as reasonable as it gets.
