After two years in the making, Malaysian performance footwear brand Voltra took a bold leap into the future of racing innovation with the official launch of its first-ever carbon plate running shoe, the Voltra: Jet, held at the picturesque Heritage Valley in Kuala Lumpur.
Organised by Brand New Waves Running Club, the event brought together the local running community, key influencers, media representatives, and prominent figures in the Malaysian sports scene. In a momentous reveal, former Minister of Youth and Sports, Khairy Jamaluddin, officially unveiled the Voltra: Jet, marking a significant milestone in homegrown athletic innovation.
As the second Malaysian brand to launch a carbon-plated shoe, Voltra cements its position at the forefront of the local performance footwear industry. The Jet is designed for elite performance—combining cutting-edge materials, responsive cushioning, and a full-length carbon plate engineered for propulsion and speed.
The launch event featured live demonstrations, athlete testimonials, and a hands-on experience for attendees to test the Jet on the Heritage Valley track. The atmosphere was charged with excitement, as runners and media personalities praised the shoe’s sleek design, light weight, and responsive feel.
The Voltra: Jet will be available online early August, and at selected marathon events that feature Voltra, with limited pairs up for grabs at a retail price of RM559.
