Eight top fastest eaters were then chosen to compete in the Eat Fast Fast Grand Finale held at the event yesterday. The concept of the challenge was to create a fun and customer engaging atmosphere. Each finalist was once again required to finish all three bowls of Kolok Mee beating each other’s previous recorded time to clinch the winning spot. Established nine years ago in Setapak, Face to Face have since expanded their business within Malaysia with a total number of 30 restaurants across the region namely in Klang Valley, Perak, Malacca, Penang, Johor and Sarawak.

Known for its traditional Sarawak Noodles, Sarawak Laksa is one of Face to Face’s signature dishes in addition to the Sarawakian Kolok Mee. Incorporating third-generation recipes, the Sarawak Laksa is a unique variant in comparison to the usual Curry Laksa where its broth contains a specially Sarawak Sambal Laksa paste that gives it a rich, distinct flavor.

Apart from serving variations of Traditional Sarawak Laksa, Face to Face has also diversified its menu to include various interpretations of Pan Mee, made using the same age-old technique. Each creation is then complemented by different types of homemade sauces, chili and sambal, developed to be a perfect fit for a particular broth or cooking style. Face to Face also imports orginal Sarawakian peppers, sauces and pastes to maintain and promote the taste of Sarawak.
