For some time now, it’s been the trend for beauty brands to come up with illuminating face powders. Brands love to package them in irresistible cases with some designs on the powder itself. This holiday season, Dior offers 2 illuminating pressed powders, one with pink shimmer and the other with gold yellow shimmer. Shimmer powders aren’t for me but I have to say there are those who can really pull it off and since the party season is almost upon us, why not indulge a little?
Obviously one should be light-handed with these powders otherwise you will find yourself the centre of attention for the wrong reason. If I went for one at all, it’d be Pink Shock as that one looks more natural on fair skin tones and I don’t think it’d be too much even for day make-up.
They retail at RM240 each.
