Collistar’s Limited Edition Mascara Set was available at more or less the same time as their Capri Collection. The set comes in a clear plastic box with a black polka dot cosmetics pouch which contains the 11ml Mascara Design® Extra Volume•Lash Plumping & 50ml Cleansing Make-Up Remover Micellar Water.
The Mascara Design®has the LashPulp Complex® which acts on both the shaft and fibre of the lashes for an immediate plumping effect and claims to have a progressive plumping action, i.e. thicker lashes after 30 days.
While I can safely say that there is an immediate lash-plumping effect, I can’t say that there has been an improvement in the volume of my lashes with continuous usage. I have been using this mascara on a daily basis for the past 2 months simply because it doesn’t smudge on my under-eye area all day and performs satisfactorily to lengthen, define and volumize. In addition, it is intensely coloured so it also works to enhance the appearance of my lashes. The shape of the bristles is well designed to reach the smaller lashes at the sides. Overall, a very good product with no flaws that I can grouse about.
The Cleansing Make-Up Remover Micellar Water is the perfect complement to the Mascara Design® because it’s effective in removing all traces of eye make-up without stinging. It’s gentle and effective at the same time.
