It soon became apparent that pork ribs or in Morganfield’s lingo, Sticky Bones™ is their specialty. Oh yes, if you love pork meals, this is the place for you. Definitely NON-HALAL!
Since it was lunch time, we didn’t feel up to ordering a platter of ribs so my friend ordered starters which is chicken quesadillas.
Chicken quesadillas
She said it was quite okay but didn’t rave about it. Anyway, I didn’t think it looked particularly appetising even with the sauce.
Beer battered fish fillets
We ordered beer battered fish fillets which came in a generous helping. It wasn’t oily and had a mild beer taste. I would love to have this again as the taste is quite unique.
Baked parmesan crusted emerald
Another dish that also came in a generous helping and can be shared by 2 persons. The fish is very tender and there’s just enough cheese sauce so that the fish fillets aren’t so dry. Goes very well with the white rice.
The chicken quesadillas are below RM20 while the fish dishes are around RM24.90 each, all subjected to taxes.
The fish dishes look delicious!
Not bad as far as fish dishes go so the pork ribs must be even better since it is their specialty.
Will visit one day!
