Yesterday, I received one of the best media gifts of the year. Yes, I know the year is hardly over but I don’t know if media gifts for me will get better than a pair of Charlotte Olympia slippers which she designed for her collaboration with MAC Cosmetics. These slippers are so exclusive that they’re not sold to customers. That’s why they are a media gift.
Pink with a design of fingers clasping and ‘rubies’ for fingernails, these are indeed lovely to look at. However, because they’re quite narrow, I don’t find them that comfortable. Charlotte’s design philosophy is to create luxurious, feminine shoes and accessories with a sense of humour and these slippers definitely have a sense of humour about them.
