Biotherm Skin•ergetic The Fatigue Fighter

One of the more interesting skincare products to be launched this year is Biotherm’s Skin•ergetic because of the key ingredients – a combination of broccoli powder, apples, lemons, sugar cane and soy protein. I don’t know if there is any other skincare that has broccoli in it.

It’s a product that addresses tired skin concerns, fatigue can quickly and easily turn into signs of premature ageing if they are not erased in time. According to Biotherm, the 5 signs of fatigue to look out for are loss of radiance, uneven complexion, visible pores, unrefined skin texture and roughness.

Before using the product, you have to push the bottle cap to release the contents of the activation capsule which contain the broccoli powder. Then the bottle has to be shaken and the activation capsule replaced with a dropper cap.

As I have been using 2 sachet samples, these do not contain the broccoli powder. I have been trying it out to see what effect (if any) it has on my skin the next morning. I like the scent which is very sweet but it may not be to everyone’s liking as it’s really strong.

Maybe it’s because my samples don’t contain any broccoli powder, maybe it’s because I have only enough samples to last 4 nights but I don’t see any difference to my skin in the mornings. It does give an instant smoothness to my skin even if I don’t apply moisturizer after that.

I heard from one of the Biotherm Beauty Advisors that customers who’ve purchased Skin•ergetic have given positive feedback and say that their skin looks more rested in the mornings. At RM195 for 50ml, it can be considered one of the more affordable counter brand serums available.
