Clio Hair Roll Cara Volume x Volume Mascara

Ever since I spotted Clio at Watsons, I have been somewhat curious about this brand. Finally got to try something from Clio when the brand launched their salon brush mascara known as Salon de Cara.  Before Malaysia, this mascara had already been launched in Korea, China, Vietnam and USA.

Features of Salon de Cara:-

1. The first salon style brush mascara in Korea adopting salon technology.

2. Salon Oriented Formula with volume effect.

3. Waterproof Coating that will easily wash off without irritation.

4. Salon ingredients using ceramides and Argan Oil which provides strong moisturizing treatment to prevent eye lashes from being damaged.

The mascara I received as a press sample is Hair Roll Cara (Volume x Volume) – there are 2 other variants, i.e. Finger Brush Cara (Long Lash x Volume) and Roll Brush Cara (Curling x Volume). Hair Roll Cara (Volume x Volume) has a 15mm cylindrical roller brush just like hair rollers. The applicator is flexible since it is rubbery.

As the wand is so slim, it is easy to reach the smallest lashes. Even if you don’t curl your lashes beforehand, the wand will lift lashes slightly, there’s no clumping. You get volume and a bit of lengthening. It really does make non-existent lashes look fatter. Slight smudging on me after a few hours though.
