When I saw this Enuca Eye Essential Quad (Amethyst) in MIVVA’s Colourific Box, I thought it was such a good value box since just this quad alone was more than twice what I’d paid for that box. The quad has a cream eyeshadow base on the bottom right of the palette. The eyeshadow colours complement each other very well.
I apply the base on my lids before the eyeshadows as this makes them much easier to work with. They are transformed from powder to cream shadows. They feel so smooth, there is virtually no tugging of my eyelids as I blend them together.
How do I use them? The lilac shade goes on the inner corners of my eyes to the middle, the lavender (darker purple) goes on from the outer corners till it meets the lilac and the copperish shade goes on the browbone for some contrast with the purples.
The shadows are strong, intense, bright and beautiful. They are well pigmented without the unnecessary sparkles/shimmers that we see in a lot of shadows nowadays. This is a palette I will be using for a long time and it makes me want to check out the other Enuca Eye Essential Quads – Sunset & Smoky.
