Camie reviews Yves Rocher’s Peony Set which is a trio of bodycare products consisting of a 30ml EDT, 200ml Shower Gel & 200ml Body Lotion. The set makes a nice gift.
Filling the air of last spring was a delicate empress flower by the name of Peony. It was a flower named after Peony, the pupil of Asclepius, Greek god of medicine and healing. In China, the Peony symbolized the art, riches and honour.
Like some other brands, Yves Rocher introduced a range of body products with the sweet, delicate fragrance of Peony which includes a shower gel, body lotion & EDT. The color free shower gel is mildly scented and lingers lightly on the skin after a long hot shower. It doesn’t leave the skin feeling tight nor dry. Finish off with a generous spread of the luscious Peony scented body lotion for soft, smooth baby like skin.
The texture of the lotion is rather runny and it’s very light. If you happen to be someone who prefers rich creamy lotion or body butter, you may need several applications of this. The EDT is the more concentrated version of the 2 products mentioned above. It gives the same scent of Peony and comes in a tiny pink glass bottle.
The packaging is exactly the same for both the shower and lotion but I find it a little too plasticky. The only differences between the 2 bottles is just the printed plastic labels. Nevertheless, if you are going for something that is mild, fresh and romantic, these products are just that.
