The nationwide search to find Malaysians who can handle the heat and be the fastest to finish the spiciest Fire Chicken has come to an end, with Richeese Factory Malaysia proudly hosting the exhilarating Grand Finale of the Fire Chicken Challenge 2.0 at Central i-City Shah Alam. This year’s competition saw a remarkable surge in enthusiasm, with 600 participants signing up online—a significant increase from last year’s 400 contestants.

The first part of the Fire Chicken Challenge 2.0 was held at multiple locations in the South, North and Central regions where the top finalists were selected from each region based on their performance in finishing Fire Chicken with a spiciness level of Level 3, judged on the speed and cleanliness of their chicken bone and plate.

The ultimatum of the Richeese Factory Fire Chicken Challenge 2.0 saw 40 finalists competing to finish Fire Chicken at the highest spiciness level, Level 5, with the cleanest bone and plate. The competition was fierce, showcasing not only the contestants’ endurance but also their prowess in handling extreme heat.

Joel Lee, Country Head of Richeese Factory Malaysia & Singapore, commented on the success of the contest: “The Fire Chicken Challenge 2.0 has been an incredible journey this year. It gives our fans an opportunity to push their limits while enjoying the bold flavours we are known for. The impressive increase in participation also reflects the growing popularity of Richeese Factory’s unique offerings.”
