Tropicana Alam Bolsters ESG Commitment With Two New Strategic Partnerships

Today, Tropicana Corporation Berhad (“Tropicana” or the “Group”) marked another milestone for Tropicana Alam, its first mixed-use development in Puncak Alam, with a dual inaugural signing ceremony alongside Signature Distribution Sdn Bhd (“Signature”) and EDCA Sdn Bhd (“EDCA Energy”). These partnerships underscore the Group’s strong ESG commitment as a 4-star ESG-rated company. The collaboration reinforces Tropicana’s dedication to sustainable practices and green building excellence, while enhancing the homeownership experience at Avisa Residences.

Ixora Ang, Managing Director of Marketing & Sales and Business Development of Tropicana, is thrilled to elaborate further, saying, “Having been a community builder for more than 47 years, crafting more than 20 townships across Malaysia, we recently achieved a 4-star ESG rating by Bursa Malaysia. Recognising the importance of creating communities that stand the test of time with sustainability at the forefront, we are proud to partner with Signature and EDCA Energy, further reinforcing our ESG commitments to our stakeholders. This partnership is designed to unlock added value for Tropicana Alam’s Avisa Residences homeowners. Enhancing affordability, our partnership with Signature will exclusively furnish Avisa homeowners with seven curated and flexible home-enhancement packages designed to suit different lifestyle needs. With a keen understanding of the financial commitments that come with moving into a new home, we have thoughtfully curated packages that cover essential renovations and fittings, enabling homeowners to step into their dream residence from as low as RM20,800. On top of that, homeowners can also benefit from improved affordability through a structured, instalment-based prepayment arrangement for renovation planning, enabling more manageable payment scheduling ahead of vacant possession. Reach out to us to learn more about this exciting package.”

“For our EDCA Energy partnership, we are offering specially tailored solar panel system packages exclusively for Tropicana Alam’s Avisa Residences. This collaboration enables residents to enjoy highly competitive market rates while embracing a more energy-efficient and future-ready lifestyle. Avisa Residences is Tropicana Alam’s first GreenRE-certified 2-storey Premium Green Terraces, so the adoption of solar panels is a natural extension of our sustainability commitment for both homebuyers and investors,” she added.

Through this collaboration, Signature Distribution Sdn Bhd offers a convenient one-stop renovation solution featuring seven curated home-enhancement packages designed to provide greater financial flexibility. Avisa Residences will also be the first development to introduce a structured, instalment-based prepayment option for renovation planning. This allows homeowners to progressively settle their selected package over 6, 12, or 18 months prior to the commencement of renovation works. Through its partnership with EDCA Energy, Tropicana Alam’s homeowners are able to access two competitively priced solar packages for its Solar Accelerated Transition Action Programme (“Solar ATAP”). Available for the first 50 units, these solar panels integrate future green living for greater efficiency.

“As a one-stop home and living partner with over 30 years of expertise, Signature is proud to introduce seven curated packages specially designed for Avisa Residences’ homeowners — from essential cabinetry and furniture solutions to fully coordinated home interior enhancements. By engaging homeowners at the point of SPA signing and offering a structured instalment prepayment arrangement with no interest, we enable early planning and greater financial clarity. Renovation works will commence only after full payment is received, allowing every Avisa Residences’ home to be thoughtfully completed and ready for comfortable living within a defined timeframe,” said Lau Kock Sang, Group CEO of Signature International Berhad.

Edward Chye, Founder & Director of EDCA Energy, also shared his thoughts, saying, “As an experienced solar energy service provider, EDCA Energy is more than just a seller of products and services – we are your partner in your solar investment journey. Our team consists of professionals with engineering backgrounds, possessing deep technical knowledge and extensive industry experience to ensure we provide you with the best solutions. We are happy to collaborate with Tropicana as this represents a significant step towards creating homes that not only enhance the quality of life but also contribute to a sustainable future.”
