Dato’ Kamil Othman, Chairman of the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS).
Brought to you by Toybox Projects, The world-class pop-up museum, and exhibition, The World of Tim Burton, will be debuting in Malaysia for the first time this March 2023 until July 2023. To celebrate this auspicious occasion, Tim Burton, famous for films such as Alice in Wonderland, Edward Scissorhands, Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, and the recent hit TV series Wednesday, and many more will be traveling to Kuala Lumpur to tell his story on the art of films, his unique creative processes, and the road to becoming a prominent household name in the entertainment and film industry.
Toybox Projects is aiming to contribute to the Malaysian entertainment industry by bringing The world-class pop-up museum “The World of Tim Burton” and “Tim Burton’s Masterclass” for the current and aspiring filmmakers, creatives, young adults, and students of the film and art industry. With this, Tim Burton and Dato’ Kamil Othman hope to inspire current and aspiring filmmakers, creatives as well as students in Malaysia by providing knowledge, creative input, film tips, and tricks, to drive individuals in achieving their aspirations and develop quality films and artworks; showcasing what Malaysia has to offer to the rest of the world.
Fans, film enthusiasts, and visitors from all walks of life can enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from Tim Burton this coming 21 March 2023 (Tuesday), at 2.00 p.m. onwards at Exhibition Hall 3, Level 5, Pink Zone, Pavilion Bukit Jalil for only RM338 per person, and a special price of RM238 per person for students. Not only that, as a token of appreciation, those attending will be receiving an exclusive digital certificate after the masterclass as well as a 10% off ticket discount for The World of Tim Burton.
Additionally, there will be a book signing session limited to 100 VIP Ticket Holders together with the exclusive The Art of Tim Burton book and merchandise, multiple entry season pass, and the opportunity to meet Tim Burton.
The World of Tim Burton, the world-class pop-up museum opening next week, 21 March 2023 to 30 July 2023 is the first time in Southeast Asia, and the last time to catch in Asia.
