Revel in a colourful celebration with the triumph of light over darkness this Deepavali with Sungei Wang from now until 11 November 2018.
For the first time in town, Sungei Wang takes you on a maze journey and explore the Deepavali celebration with the theme of Amaze-ing Deepavali. Standing out from the typical Kolams in town, shoppers will be in awe with the one of a kind colourful maze-type Kolam for an exceptional Kolam design that everyone would not want to miss. Kolam is believed to bring prosperity and happiness into the lives of every individual. This year, the Kolam surrounds by colourful wooden-made blocks and aesthetically decorated in a maze with Indian cultural ornaments to complete the decorations.
Deepavali Events & Activities
In conjunction with the celebration, enjoy hypnotic dance movements by the dancers with Bollywood Dance Performance on weekends, 1pm and 4pm. On weekends, maze around Sungei Wang and spot the Saree girls for a photo opportunity and be rewarded with Indian snacks, 5pm.
On 28 October, 1pm, the talented children will be showing off their colouring skills by participating the fun and exciting colouring competition organised by Sungei Wang, in collaboration with PostCare. Interested participants may visit Sungei Wang’s official Facebook page to register now.
Pick up some handcraft skills! Discover the Indian cultures by joining the tailor-made learning with fun Deepavali workshops such as Flower Garland Workshop on 27 October and DIY Deepavali Kolam Keychain Workshop on 3 November.
