Last November, I collected some samples from the then newly opened NOPS outlet in Sunway Pyramid. The samples are quite generously sized although it’s not stated exactly how many ml each sachet contains.
(1) Pure Pearl Anti-Wrinkle & White Serum
From the name of this product and without reading the product description, one would assume it has a dual function, i.e. it targets wrinkles and has whitening effects. It’s a brown coloured gel which is lightweight enough not to cause any problems for people with oily skins. Skin feels instantly softer and smoother upon application of this product.
It is 50ml and priced at RM100.
(2) Aqua Punch Hydro Gel Cream
This moisturiser has a very runny and liquid texture, again another suitable skincare product for oily skins. I like the gel texture which is preferable to creamy textures especially on particularly humid days. It has the same effect on skin as the Pure Pearl Anti-Wrinkle & White Serum.
It’s 75g and priced at RM90.
(3) Water Max Moisture B.B. Cream
This BB Cream has a floral scent but it doesn’t provide enough overall coverage. There’s barely any difference between the “before” and “after” photos. The spots on my cheeks are still evident and the texture is far too thin to provide much coverage. It does feel moisturising but on the downside, there is no sunscreen.
It’s 50ml and priced at RM90.
