Shimmer, Shimmer At Holika Holika

Stepping into Holika Holika at Sunway Pyramid for the first time a couple of weeks ago was a bit of a revelation. I haven’t seen this much shimmer in make-up products since I can’t remember when. From the design of the make-up products to the shimmering powders, this is a brand that probably appeals more to the younger ladies.

They had a sale on a number of products during my visit. There were some interesting shimmer powders with various shades in each palette. As I couldn’t take any photos inside the shop, I have taken the liberty of taking this image from Holika Holika Malaysia’s Facebook page.

The palettes with the kitten and owl designs are eye-catching and I might have been tempted to pick up the owl palette but for the amount of shimmer in it. If you have oily skin, a radiant glow might not be what you are looking for.

So I browsed around and found this travelling kit with Holika favourites. At first I thought it was for men but the sales assistant said it was for ladies, this one was on 30% discount so it was RM24.90 after discount.

Aqua Fantasy Toner & Emulsion 30ml, Miracle Real Skin Finish, The King Of Bean Cleansing Foam 30ml, Bath Girl Candied Rose 30ml

All of them have scents which can be quite strong for some. I believe the Miracle Real Skin Finish is one of their bestsellers as it’s a multi-purpose product, a makeup base cum sunscreen. The King Of Bean Cleansing Foam does remove all powder/blush/foundation while the Bath Girl is just an okay shower gel, not a product I would purchase in full size. The toner and emulsion remind me of Elianto’s hydrating skincare.
