Sephora Brightening & Hydrating Foundation

This is my 2nd bottle of foundation after I reviewed their Perfecting Cover Foundation which I liked and am still using most days as it feels so light and comfortable. The Brightening & Hydrating Foundation has light-reflecting pigments so you’d likely go for this one if you wanted a foundation that gives your skin some brightness.

Compared to the Perfecting Cover Foundation, the Brightening & Hydrating Foundation has a slightly thicker texture but blending it fast wasn’t a problem as it isn’t too thick for our humid weather. Perhaps it is slightly thicker due to the hydration boosters such as hyaluronic acid, pomegranate and kiwi extracts and Vitamin C but that’s just my wild guess.

The shade of foundation in my bottle is Light and it suits me just fine. I can see that it gave my skin added luminosity and radiance. As for hydrating qualities, it did feel comfortable on my skin all day. There was no tight and dry feeling with this foundation. Coverage is light-medium – won’t cover serious blemishes and imperfections. Foundation is described as “oil-free”.

Comes in 9 shades and is fragrance-free. It’s 20ml/RM65.

  1. Hi there thanks for the review i was just wondering does the foundation oxidized or turn darker throughout the day?
    Thanks

    1. No it didn’t oxidise or turn darker on me but then I do have dry skin and those with oily skins may experience oxidisation.
