Rimmel Gentle Eye Make Up Remover Is A Good Buy

On the hunt for an eye make up remover I hadn’t tried before, I scanned the shelves at Guardian and came upon the last bottle of Rimmel Gentle Eye Make Up Remover. If it’s the last bottle available, it’s got to be popular and saleable, right? Or maybe stock hadn’t been replenished yet. No harm trying, it’s made in Monaco, not China.

It claims to be able to remover long lasting and waterproof make up with no oily residue. I’m not exactly fond of those eye make up removers which are bi-phase as some can be rather oily so if I have a choice, I’d go for one that contains no oil.

I had to use it as soon as I got home since I’d run out of eye make up remover. I had on Urban Decay’s 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner and while it removed it quite easily, there was some residue in the form of flakes sticking to my face. A couple more wipes later and all the residue was gone.

With non-waterprof eye make up, it all comes off real quick and I like it as it doesn’t sting my eyes. The plastic bottle is lightweight and at 125ml, it’s a product that can be tossed into the make up pouch for travelling without adding much to the weight of luggage. I’d consider it a good buy atRM18.90.
