It’s coming to the end of the year and I still have loads to share with you but I keep getting distracted by limited edition palettes and collections. My drafts folder is accumulating but I can’t put them all out at once or my bandwidth is going to be exceeded again and I’ll have to do the “Ladies and Gents, service is interrupted” announcement on Facebook again.
One of the things I am distracted by is Prestige Cosmetics Vanity Flair Eyeshadow Palette which I saw in Sasa’s latest catalogue. I knew I had to hunt it down as it looked so cute and I couldn’t believe the price – RM69 for 9 eyeshadows/7.2g total.
Never mind that the packaging is cardboard, at that price one can hardly complain! The palette contains a side mirror (not very big but adequate) and sponge applicator. One look at the eyeshadows told me these would be good.
Most of the eyeshadows have frosted finish. Correct me if I am wrong somebody but I think there is only one matte which is a brown shade. My favourite shade in there is Bauble Blues, stunning!! Yes, 2 exclamation marks, that’s how stunning it is to me.
Look at the colour pay-off, note that they don’t need any primer to show up like this. Gorgeous or what? It took all of my resolve and then some not to head to the counter with this palette. My New Year’s resolution is to resist buying eyeshadow palettes, might as well start early. However, that’s not to say I came out of Sasa empty handed since the limited edition sets in Sasa are much too tempting.
I’ve got another product from Prestige Cosmetics to show you all but that’s got to wait as they have sold out and even the tester wasn’t available for viewing. I’ll try and search for that elusive popular item at another Sasa outlet.

Sasa is currently offering this palette at half price (RM 35) for its anniversary. 🙂
