Pop Beauty’s Sun Bronzer is designed like sunshine rays. There’s pink on the upper left hand corner to reflect the sun and varying neutral shades that look like warm rays. The beauty of this palette is that it can be used as a bronzer and as eyeshadows.
The colours are slightly pigmented and overall, sheer but buildable. I use an eyeshadow brush to pick up the individual colours and they aren’t powdery to the extent that they will migrate all over the place. The colours are perfect for a natural eye look.
Initially, I thought the colours would be too warm on my cheeks but when I swirled my bluher brush all over the palette picking up equal amounts of pink and browns in the process, the look wasn’t as bad as I’d feared. I thought it gave a nice, warm glow to my cheeks without excessively brown.
Truth be told, I liked it better as eyeshadows than as a blusher. The browns can be combined any which way and there are more than a few eye looks with this palette. It’s a versatile palette which is space-saving since you don’t need to bring along a separate eyeshadow palette and blusher when you are travelling.
It has a mirror which is almost the same size as the palette but no brushes. It’s a very slim and lightweight palette. The combination of rose bronze, peachy gold bronze and earthy nudes should suit those with fair skin tones but may be too sheer for those with darker skin tones.
