  1. I use Daiso Charcoal Peel Off Mask once a week to remove blackheads. It’s cheap and it works wonders with my skin. But of course, the stubborn ones usually are still there so I’d use an extractor to try to get them out. I don’t use steam to soften it but I’m too lazy to wait. It’s not good I know, that’s why sometimes I tend to hurt my skin. Ouch!

  2. Thank you for another awesome giveaway!

1.I stop using peel off because it usually doesn’t work for those stubborn blackheads although it is cheap.
    2. Tried the steaming nose but too lazy to do it every three days because it is troublesome.
    3. I will be super broke to go for facial every week and they come back the next few days.
    4. Use peeling gel, then clay mask and then pore cleansing sheet mask to reduce it. It helps but troublesome.
    5. Currently using Skinmiso 3 steps pore beauty nose pack. It is the best and the easiest so far to get rid of those blackheads. It is expensive though but still cheaper than going for facial.

  3. There are several ways to remove blackheads, a useful one for blackheads on nose area is to use the Kao brand blackhead remover strips. It really works, but since our weather is hot and humid, they tend to recur. It has to be used on a regular basis and then you will see the effects!

Of course another way is to have it professionally extracted during a facial so that the skin area will not become inflamed. The pore area can also be easily infected if the removal is not done correctly!

From my experience, keeping the skin clean and avoiding touching it unnecessarily with dirty fingers is also the key to preventing blackheads.

Having said that, I always welcome any product out there which can help me remove them easily!

And so meow, meow ……… and, hopefully I get to win this Payot product!!

  4. We can never escape from blackheads and whiteheads problem. For me I prefer to use an extractor applying force to get rid of it without steaming as the stemming is too troublesome. That’s the most effective way but sometimes may cause skin redness and breakouts which I’m facing quite regularly after doing so.

After getting some advice from friend, I started to use Jeju volcanic pore clay mask to soften and wash away the blacckheads and whiteheads. It do improves the skin conditions a little bit but still I need to get some really good product to help reduce my breakouts caused by clogged pores..

  5. Thanks for the giveaway again!

I don’t really extract the blackheads by myself because I don’t know how to do it correctly without hurting my skin, I will let the beautician to do remove them but they never stop popping out after few months! Some skin care products can soften the blackheads but I have never tried any of them, maybe I shall start giving these products a try! 😀

  6. I’ve tried so many many ways to get rid of blackheads, but they are still stubborn to stay.
From peeling gel to nose pore pack to volcano masks to 3 steps nose pore pack from different beauty products. I’ve tried it all, but to no avail. *wails*

Think that back to the basics, with regular sleeping time, enough hydration and good skincare products will help to keep our skin clean and fresh, and thus minimising the risk of getting pores. =D

  7. For me the cheapest thing to remove blackheads is use egg whites . It can help to tighten pores and pull out any clogged dirt giving you smooth, clear skin. Remove the yolks from two eggs and smear it into a thin layer over your face. Give it two minutes to dry, and then add the remaining whites in a second layer. Give an additional 10-15 minutes to dry, or until the whites are smooth to the touch and your skin feels tigh, then rip them off quickly to pull out your blackheads.

I also will use the blackheads remove strips. These are great little strips of a cotton material backed with an ultra-sticky solution that dries to your face. This option offers immediate results on stubborn blackheads, but must be followed by one of the aforementioned cleansing routines in order to give long-term results as well.

I never tried the steaming nose, because I’m lazy. Hehe. Thank you juniper.

  8. Hi Juniper,

I’ve been fighting large pores and white heads on my nose for many years. Kiehl’s Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Masque is the first product I’ve tried that really seems to work. This mask is awesome. I know different things work on different people, but it’s definitely part of my routine. It’s expensive but one jar can lasted me about 10 months, even though sometimes I was using it 4 times a week. I also use a bit on the stubborn pimples over night and wash off in the morning. It leaves my skin so soft and oil controlled for hours the day after I use it.

Of cause I hope to get a chance to try Payot Expert Points Noirs because it’s a refreshing cream gel with a unique formula that brings 3 levels of action to fight blackheads. Thank you.
