Olivia Natural Beauty @ Publika

Many people like visiting Publika because of the eatery choices. They have everything there, from kopitiam fare to ramen. The food court is pretty good too. In fact, I like the Publika food court more than any other mall as the quality of the food there is high.

However, Publika has more than food. There are beauty outlets there which you won’t see at any other mall. One of these is Olivia Natural Beauty, a shop that offers natural and organic beauty products. The ingredients are sourced from a herb farm in Bali. The two brands available at Olivia are ESSENTIALS® BALI and NATURASIE®.

ESSENTIALS® BALI was developed by a naturophatic herbalist, an aromatherapist and a cosmetic chemist. Products are packaged by hand using recycled and natural materials where possible. Essential ingredients are hand harvested and cruelty and preservative-free.

NATURASIE® was created in Bali in 2007 by Dr. Damien Bernard-Lauier, a former French pharmacist working in R & D at L’oreal Paris, France, specializing in their skincare division. Naturasie’s philosophy is to use the natural ingredients from the rich volcanic soil of Bali.

Allow me to show you some of the products which caught my eye. Most of the products are under RM100 which is pretty good for products with natural/organic ingredients.

Face Serum Oils

There are 6 types of oils for face, neck and body. Yes, they have an oil formulated especially for the neck! Each of the oils has a particular herb floating within the tube. These are the 6 oils:-

• Intense Night Serum – Sage, Ginseng, Rosehips, Papaya & Coconut
• Reborn Serum – Rose Geranium, Patchouli, mandarin, Ginseng & Rosemary
• Replenish Face Serum – Lotus, Rose, Ylang Ylang, Lavender & Patchouli
• Renewal Eye Serum – Almond, Ylang Ylang, Neem, Fennel & Chamomile
• Repair Serum – Aloe Vera, Calendula, Lavender, Cucumber & Rosehips
• Essential Body Oil – Almond, Grapeseed, Soya, Patchouli, Vanilla, Lavender, Rose

Body Scrubs – Green Tea, Sweet Orange & Lavender

I had a sniff of all 3 body scrubs, the best is the sweet orange. Maybe it’s because I am partial to citrusy scents.

Mosquito Repellent

Not many brands sell mosquito repellents. You can find it the Citronella Mosquito Repellent at Olivia Natural Beauty.

Body Oils

There are body oils for anti-ageing, firming and reducing water retention.

Aloe Vera range

NATURASIE has an aloe vera range with the following products:-

The massage oils are a 100% natural blend of vegetable oils, vitamin E & essential oils.
