As I’ve mentioned earlier, Olive is a range of skincare, bodycare, haircare and even baby products from Simunovich Olive Estate near Auckland, New Zealand. Olive products are all formulated with extra virgin olive oil from the Estate.
These are 2 Olive products received at the soft launch of Olive and Tebe:-
(1) Oatmeal Soap Bar
This is a very solid 100g soap bar which contains Oat Kernel, a natural skin exfoliant. I’ve been using it for about a fortnight now and there is still quite a lot left. Although it doesn’t contain sodium laureth sulphate, it produces a satisfactory amount of foam.
As the Soap Bar is used, it exposes more of the Oat Kernel which acts as a scrub. It’s kind of like using a loofah. The olive scent is very natural and not at all synthetic. It’s a long-lasting soap that is multi-functional, it cleanses, scrubs and moisturises.
The Olive Oatmeal Soap Bar is RM24.
(2) Olive Lip Balm
This Lip Balm contains sweet almond oil which is a moisturising agent. I usually apply this Lip Balm before I go to sleep. It keeps my lips moisturised till the next morning. It has the signature Olive scent which is quite pleasant.
Although very moisturising, I would have preferred the Lip Balm to come in the form of a swivel stick instead of a tube as I have to wash my finger or at the very least, wipe it on tissue after each application.
